Paella Cartoon

Spotted this while practising my español with the ABC newspaper the other morning.

I always think you're doing well in a foreign language when you start to understand humour. I've added a link to the Fe de Ratas website so you can have a browse and see if there are any other catroons relevant to your students. (Click on a date on the calendar to see that day's cartoon.)
Also a link to the 'el Roto' cartoonist post I made a couple of years ago: el Roto
and the paella-monumental post from way-back 2012.

¡Que aproveche!

Interview with Jaume Costa, Villarreal CF

Hi again,

Happy new term, year (and season!)

I'll kick-off (ho ho) the new term with a football offering from my local club, Villarreal. It's an interview with Jaume Costa, their marauding (that's merodear if you want to use it) fullback.

There is an English translation available using the switch at the bottom of the clip.

Un saludo,

JJD
